A brand new year has officially arrived! I for one, was thrilled to rip open the next calendar in line and get going on setting my annual resolutions for both my life and of course — my STYLE.

While I can’t exactly commit to a dry January ;-), I can absolutely commit to this set of style resolutions. I’ve decided on these simple, yet effective items for their ability to spark joy both for myself, and those around me. They’re sure to infuse positive energy into the world in a fun (and fashionable) way.

My Style Resolutions

Embrace Color

Color sparks joy! Infusing a little extra color into your wardrobe doesn’t have to be scary. If you find mixing color in a bit intimidating, start small: keep your main pieces neutral, and add that pop of color with a bold accessory like a headband or bangle.

Keep Our Planet In Mind

Seek A Unique Piece

Resist the temptation to stick to the old tried-and-true, and add a piece with a little pizzazz to your closet. No more buying that 3rd black sweater — unless is comes in ruffles, a statement shoulder, or sparkles.

Get Dressed Everyday

This one can seem on the tough side, especially in our current work-from-home, “no one will see me” environment. While even I resist this at times, I know that doing this little step for myself first thing in the morning sets my day off on the right foot. Give it a try yourself, at least for 1 straight week and notice the difference it makes in your day-to-day mindset.
